In 2010 Size Surfaces created its first board with the Neolith Stone brand, pursuing the goal of innovating in the world of architecture and interior design.

This is a synthesized stone, manufactured from various materials: granites, glass, silica and natural oxides. Granite gives it hardness and strength, glass and silica give it chemical stability and thanks to the natural oxides this gives rise to different shades.

Neolith Stone, thanks to its characteristics, is suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Due to its physical and mechanical characteristics, it is resistant to stains, high and low temperatures, exposure to UV rays, shocks or scratches. All this makes Neolith Stone to be well above Silestone or granite.

In addition, another aspect for which it stands out is the imitation it makes of materials such as marble, wood or steel. As a company dedicated to marble in Valencia, at Mabello we use Neolith in a large number of projects always innovating and creating new applications.

Neolith Sintered Stone Countertops

Due to the qualities of this material, its most common application is in kitchen worktops. A Neolith worktop is resistant to all types of utensils that can scratch it, and thanks to its non-porousness it is the perfect surface for direct contact with food as it does not release harmful substances. In addition, hot elements can be placed on it without deteriorating or burning it, which is not the case with other materials.

Finally, another advantage of Neolith worktops is that they are very easy to clean because they are resistant to the chemicals in cleaning products.

Neolith Stone Formats

• Table format or large formats:  3600×1200 mm is the size of the largest modules, other sizes are 3200×1500 mm and 3200x1600mm. These sizes are highly sought after by architects as continuous surfaces can be installed, thus minimizing joints. This makes them much more aesthetic and hygienic structures. In addition, its minimum thickness of 3, 6, 12 or 20 mm makes it very easy to transport and install. Another point in favour is the weight, since while marble weighs 60 kg. and porcelain 30kg per square metre, Neolith 6mm thickness only weighs 15 kg/m2 and 3 mm. only 7 Kg.
• Tile format: 1500×1500, 1500×750, 750×750, 1200×1200, 1200×600, 600×600 and 00×300 mm. They are usually applied in new-build projects and house refurbishments.

All these characteristics and peculiarities make Neolith Stone one of the stone materials that is most in demand today. As well as being used on worktops, it is also used for laundry rooms, swimming pools, furniture, walls or floors.
